We are trying to kick off UFT tests stored in ALM using the HP Application Automation Tools plugin for Jenkins. When we try to run we are getting the error from the execution on the Slave, the error is Could not create scheduler, please verify ALM client installation on run machine by downloading and in installing the add-in …… The problem is that we have already installed the connectivity add in and also registered the ALM client on all of the Jenkins slave machines so we should not be getting this error, any idea why it is still occuring? We are on ALM 12.20

This sounds like it could be QCCR1J76448

if it is the issue you will get an error in Windows event viewer, error 0x0eedfade for wexctrl.exe (the alm scheduler) error occurs on the machine/slave you are trying to run the execution on.

It is fixed in all the most recent ALM patches, you can search the patch notes for QCCR1J76448, you should be able to patch ALM to version 12.21 Patch 3 to fix. This error can be seen on any ALM version beyond ALM 11.52 Patch 4.
