I need to create a custom .XSL for my UFT results, but I have no idea how to start. Can someone give me some pointers please?

I'd start by getting the default .xsl files and .css stylesheet and making a copy of them, then use them as a template for your own.
The files you need are PDetails.xsl (used for the default Detailed export format) and the PShort.xsl (used for the default Short export format) and the PResults.css which is the stylesheet. You can find all these files in:

C:Program FilesHPUnified Functional Testingdat

or for 64 bit machines:

C:Program Files (x86)HPUnified Functional Testingdat

(they're also available in QTP installation pathdat and RRV install pathdat)
