Debugging Loadrunner scripts – turn on/off think times while running?
Question ID: 104227

For debugging purposes, I have a long web(http/html) script that I would like to have ignore think times for the first part of the script on playback, but then enable them when it reaches the section I’m interested in.

Is there a way to do this without commenting out all the think times up to that point?

Maybe a way to programmatically turn on/off think time usage at runtime, or flag certain think times as "valid" just for one run? I would rather not temporarily litter the script with sleep() functions, either.

In the Virtual User Generator, select Run-Time Settings. Under the General tab there is an option to ignore think times.

When you run a load test using the Controller, you can (again) select Run-Time Settings and make sure this option is enabled to honor think times.
