Defects not showing when added during a step run

When adding a defect (or defects) to a step during a test run in test lab (for manual runner), when I go back to the run after its stopped (failed or even say you passed it), I do not see via Linked Defects the defect that was just added. Clicking on Linked Defects (or direct via Cntrl+B) shows nothing there so confused on why the link is not present.

Hello, When you from the test run details click on Linked Defects, it defaults to a Direct Link view. Links between defects and test sets are Indirect links for test instances. You will need select the drop down to the right, the Type of Link, and change that to All links. This will show your indirect link that you tied from your test run test step. Marked as spam
