Yes, With LoadRunner 12.01 you can use Chrome and/or Firefox for the Web based protocols. For the TruClient protocols only IE or Firefox.

LR 12.01 with patch 1 installed, Record and replay support for:

- Internet Explorer 8,9,10 & 11
- Chrome test for versions up to 35
- Firefox test for versions up to 29
- AJAX TruClient for standard IE 9, 10 or 11
- AJAX TruClient Firefox (22 LR 's built-in version
- AJAX TruClient Firefox (30 LR 's built-in version) if LR 12.01patch 1 installed (LLR_03407)

Note:

- LoadRunner should be updated to LR 11.52 patch 3 OR LR 12.01 patch1
- The Firefox and/ or Chrome browser must be installed in order to use with the Web (http/html) protocol
- Chrome and Firefox version updates occur constantly and do not introduce dramatic changes. So these versions can be supported as well
- When Recording within Chrome and Firefox may fail if other browser windows are open. Workaround: Close all Chrome and Firefox instances before recording those browsers
- DO NOT Update the TruClient Firefox version (LR's built -in version) this will break VuGen. (only use HP created patch to update LoadRunner, TruClient)
