Does QTP support HTML 5?

I am getting ready to start testing a site with HTML 5 and was wondering if QTP 11 or 11.5 will support HTML 5?

HP has stated that it should work with QTP 11 with the following comments.

* Major parts of HTML5 based applications consist from HTML4(and below ) controls.
* Due to the fact that QTP supports HTML4 applications , HTML5 applications can
be successfully tested .
* If you require support for specific, HTML5 controls, please open enhancement request and
we would consider that for future releases.

HP has just release the following statement about HTML 5:
HTML 5 is only with QTP 11 and 11.5. Major parts of HTML 5 based applications consist from HTML 4(and below ) controls. Therefore, HTML 5 applications can be successfully tested. If specific support for HTML 5 controls is requred, please open enhancement request and we would consider that for future releases.
