Having an issue with a project when I attempt to open the Project Customization, I get a series of errors.

I can OK the first error, then will get a second one, OK that and then I am in. Edits seem to save. If I try to enter Customization again, the same thing errors occur again.


First one is ***"Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created."***

Hit OK and get…

***"An item with the same key has already been added."***

Hit OK and then customization works and can be saved.

The error is annoying and would like to get it removed.

This generally is an issue specific to the client install on the particular machine used, or something associated to the userID that is being utilized for ALM.

Simple test can be to try your login on another machine. If issue does not repeat, would seem client related. Suggest running the ALM Client Uninstall Utility and selecting ''full cleanup'' to remove the client and components, and then reinstalling the client via connection to ALM URL in IE or MSI method as needed.

Test to see if issue is gone. If issue repeats, or if issue is seen for same userID on another machine, I would at this point suggest having an admin remove the user from the project in question and then add back. And test again.
