Certain users are receiving the message "Failed to Match the Release to the Cycle" when attempting to change the cycle on a defect from on Cycle/Release to another.

Try looking in the Projects and Groups / Permissions / Defects module in Customization.
See if checking the ''Detected in Release'' and ''Detected in Cycle'' fields are checked for ''Update'' permission for your QC Users group doing the changes.

Thanks for the response. We've checked both of those permissions in the defects module and are still receiving the error.
