How do I know which DB server and database/schema name is used by my load of Qyality Center?

I just inherited a load of Quality Center from another division in my company.
I am not sure they knew what they were doing when they last upgraded it.

I know that each project in my Site Admin tree if "site Projects" will tell me on the "Project Details" tab where it’s own DB and project directory are, but …

Is there an easy way to tell where the Quality Center Application/service is reading the qcsiteadmin_db database/schema from?

How to be sure you have the CORRECT qcsiteadmin_db from your old server:

This is the Default 11.52/12.xx Deploy folder:
C:ProgramDataHPALMwebappsqcbin

In the WEB-INF folder, look for ''siteadmin.xml''

Open Siteadmin.xml (with Internet Explorer) to see location and name of ''siteadmin'' database - usually called ''qcsiteadmin_db'' or similar variation.

Here, we have ''qcsiteadmin'' (DbName) on SQL-server ''localhost:1433'' (DbURL).
Also notice the encrypted password and initialization strings, these are generated based on the Confidential Security passphrases - the phrases must be the same for the NEW server as were on the OLD server or this qcsiteadmin_db cannot be used.
