How do you completely uninstall HP-synchronizer?

We were trying to install the newer version of HP-Synchronizer and are getting an error message about HP-synchronizer not being able to support "re-install".

We just want to start over with a blank database and do a complete re-install.

We used Uninstall from Control panel and uninstalled both HP-Synchronizer Server and the Postgres 8.3 database.

What are we missing?

There is a ''trick'' to a complete uninstall of HP-Synchronizer server.
You had the right idea by uninstalling HP-synchronizer server AND Postgres, but you missed 2 other things:

1) delete the c:postgres folder

2) Delete the Windows user ''postgres''

3) (optional) delete the ...Program FilesHPHP Application Lifecycle Management Synchronizer folder -- copy your BACKUPS out of the backup folder to somewhere else first.

REMINDER: if what you wanted was a ''blank'' Postgres database AND you were UPGRADING to a newer HP-sync server version, you *could* have just indicated during install that you did NOT want it to upgrade the database, and it would have replaced it with a blank one.
