How to create custom columns for test sets.

I am looking to add a few new columns into the test set view for all our users. Our project already uses some custom columns, at least through TC_USER_04. I would like to be able to add on another 6 more without modifying the existing columns. Mainly looking for help on the proper steps to do this without messing up the existing project’s database.
