How to force UFT hosts to use FT instead of UFT concurrent license (AutoPass)?

We have both FT and UFT concurrent licenses. AutoPass v9.3. We are finding that our UFT host machines are running out of full UFT licenses when they need it (being consumed by other machines that only need the FT licenses). How can we force UFT hosts to use the FT product type instead of the full UFT licenses we have on our license server?

On your UFT host machines that you want to force to use a FT instead of full UFT license: 1) In AutoPass > License Management, confirm that the Feature ID for your FT license instance is 20528:1 2) Make sure there is no instance of UFT currently open/running. 3) Locate the machine's LicenseSettings.xml file. (default location: C:ProgramDataHewlettPackardUFTLicenseLicenseSettings.xml) 4) Open, add the following setting, and save: Marked as spam
