HP ALM unable to connect to Database

Hi ,

Recently we planned to upgrade from HPQC to HPALM and while migrating the process we are trying to configure the connectivity process however, we are not successful. Is there a way to check the configuration for DB in HPALM in other words how do we make sure that our DB is set correctly.

Please provide more information.

What version/patch level of HP QC are you using?

What version/patch level of HP ALM are you using?

What is the database management tool for your environment?

Are these set up on different servers? Are you trying to move your projects from one HP ALM/QC environment to another?

Did you do a clean install of HP ALM?

Explain exactly what you mean by ''we are not successful''. Are you getting some sort of error message? What is the exact error message, and what are you doing when it appears?
