I am getting an access denied error when trying to monitor the OS hardware on a Windows machine with the AppDynamics database agent.

Here is the best way to fix this issue:

1. In regit, navigate to and click: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem.
2.Click LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy and set the value to 1.

If LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy does not exist, create this DWORD as follows:

1.On the Edit menu, click New -> DWORD Value.
2.Enter LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy.
3.Right-click LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy and click Modify.
4.In the Value data box, type 1, and click OK.
