IE 8 crashing while recording a web application ,using Load Runner 11.0 – patch 4 in my machine, while working fine in another when recording the same application with the same version. We are in Windows 7 64 bit. Could some one help me out here ?

Thanks for your reply. It was working fine before, only now its not working.
Too add to the context of the issue, I upgraded to 11.5 previously, and degraded to 11.0 again recently (uninstall 11.5 and install 11.0). Does this cause this problem ?

I am not sure if that's a problem uninstalling. Do you know about the MS update patch. HP released new patches for LoadRunner 11 and 11.5 To comply with Microsoft security update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2661254 certificates with encryption less than 1024 bits have been replaced. For version 11.0 the patch is LR_03160 For LR 11.50 the patch is LR_03159 If you run the HP Update App on your machine, it should pick it up.

the patch requires the C++ 2010 runtime redistributable, although it is not automatically installed. That could be the problem.

Note, you need the x86 version of it (regardless of OS bits). You can get it from here:
