Integration with SVN(Subversion)

I was thinking of trying to integrate ALM with our source control (SVN) so that defects must be selected during commit messages. Is there anyway to encode the URL of ALM so that for a particular user I can log them in and pull back the defects associated to them?

For example, rather than going to http://server/qcbin/start_a.jsp, logging in, going to the defects module and so on can I just use something like http://server/qcbin/start_a.jsp?username=me;password=mine to get defects?

GoDawgs,

Unfortunately, HP has not provided QC/ALM with the functionality to integrate with SVN (Subversion) or to encode the URLs with parameters for the username and password to automatically login to the Defects module.
So, you will have to create a script to do that for you.

I hope this helps.
Thanks,
David
