I have hundreds of test scripts and considering migrating from UFT to LeanFT. Does HP offer a conversion tool?

Hi @pumpkin,

There is a tool called [Quicklean][1] which converts UFT scripts to LeanFT so that it can be readily used. It was launched in the HP Discover 2015 along with LeanFT. It seems they have worked closely with HP team before launching it,

Regards,
RJ

Note also that LeanFT does not provide all the same functionality of UFT, nor does it support all the same technologies that UFT can through its add-ins. I would advise against trying to convert existing tests scripts.

Currently I am not aware of any tool by HP to do a conversion of UFT tests to LeanFT. There is a third party tool that has claims of doing the conversion but I have not used it. HP does offer a tool to covert UFT Object Repository to a LeanFT repository and you can find out more about it in the user manual.

The fact that HP LeanFT does not replace HP UFT and is built to create an integrated environment for Software Development answers most of the questions.
