Is there a way to load the v11 QC client on a desktop without being an administrator. I have 300+ users to upgrade when I convert to Quality Center v11? I have created the MSI to load the activex files to the browser but I still need admin to finish installing the client.

You have to generate the MSI. From the ALM home page select the Add-Ins Page link, then the Nore HP ALM Add-ins link. Under the section HP ALM Administrator Add-ins there is a subsection called Others. There you will find a link to the HP ALM Client MSI Generator. That will lead you to the HPLN Portal, which requires you to sign in with an HP Passport account.

If your environment includes Microsoft Systems Management Server or something similar, you can use that technology to push the Client and install it on workstations using an identity that has administrative access. I assume your IT department has admin access to the workstations. Our IT group uses that technology all the time to push updates to user workstations (though not the QC Client specifically).
