Issue after deleting BPT tests and components in ALM 11.52

We are currently using ALM 11.52 Patch 7, and we have completely removed all BPT tests and components from ALM because we no longer plan to use BPT. After deleting the BPT tests and components, I am running into an issue when I try to delete the components from the 'Obsolete' folder. It states that the components cannot be deleted until they are removed from linked tests. The problem is, I have deleted all BPT tests, and when I click on the link to the test from the BPT component, it throws an error saying the test no longer exists.

I have tried repairing the project in Site admin and get the following error message regarding BPT:

**Problems that require Manual Repair:**

– Corruptions found in BPT dependencies
– Corruptions found in BPT dependencies

**Data problems that the Repair tool will fix:**

– BPT DB inconsistencies found
– Note: Some records in BPT tables were
found to have inconsistent data.
These records will be updated by the
repair operation.

**Orphan entities found:**

– The repair tool will delte the orphan
entities from the project
– Missing parent entity type – Missing
parent entity id

Hello. This is a known issue / limitation with version 11.52. It has been programmed to be resolved with patch 8, but HP doesn't currently have an ETA on the release of this patch. You can refer to the following QCCR documentation to get further information on the issue:

https://softwaresupport.hp.com/group/softwaresupport/search-result/-/facetsearch/document/LID/QCCR1J83064?lang=en&cc=us&hpappid=202392_OSP_PRO_HPE

A work around for this issue would be to restore and repair from a backup of the project's schema database.
