LeanFT Install on Mac stuck in infinite loop
Question ID: 107980

While re-installing LeanFT on my Mac, when I try to launch the LeanFTSetup.app an error message pops up saying:

One or more newer versions of the product are already installed. An upgrade is not applicable.
![alt text][1]

I click the Abort button, but the launcher continues to pop up. Force quitting does not work from the Activity Monitor. I have to reboot the Mac.

This could be due to uninstalling my previous LeanFT application improperly. The uninstaller was not working and I ended up drag and dropping to trash.

I agree that this problem was probably caused by improper LeanFT uninstall. To fix it, try this:

Delete the following:

/Applications/LeanFT
/Library/ApplicationSupport/LeanFT
/Library/Application Support/.LeanFT
/Library/Application Support/LeanFT

Next, remove the Safari ext from the browser

~/Library/Preferences/.com.zerog.registry.xml

Finally, reinstall LeanFT. You should be able to finish the install now.

Perfect. This fixed the loop and I now have LeanFT installed.
