My QTP 10 main menu item has disappeared. For example when I try to open a test (File > Open) there is no option for Open. All of the sub selections are missing.

There are two fixes for menu issues.

I wish I knew the above before I did a uninstall and then re install of QTP

If you go to the Start Page with Quick Test Professional and then follow the following: Menu Bar go to Tools> General>Restore Layout and this should restore everything back to its normal state (this works with Quick Test Professional 11 as well). Marked as spam
