Managers cannot edit status of BPT tests after review

We use reviewers to go through and check and evaluate new additions to ALM. Meaning for requirements, tests, components, and more, we have reviewers who check out everything before things are given a ready status or so and such.

For business process tests, the reviewers cannot edit the status of the tests though after review. It seems to be read only. Permission seems accurate, and tdadmin even seems to have same issue. We only have the one project for BPT and licenses, so can't really test to see if same is another project.

Hello,

This is accurate behavior. The status of the business process tests is ''fed'' by the added component.

When creating a component in ALM, the component upon creation would have a status of ''under development''. A new test gets status of ''design''. When you add a component to the test then the status goes to ''maintenance''. When the component status goes to ''ready'' then the test status changes to ''ready''.

Makes sense I suppose. Will have to discuss with reviewers a method then that will work for them to review the component along with the test.
