MobileLabs – steps to update deviceConnect license?

We just renewed our deviceConnect license, and I’ve received a zip file, but I’m not sure where to go from here?

Before anything else, make sure the Node Key from your license matches your MobileLabs instance (on any page in the deviceConnect portal, click on the ''About deviceConnect'' link at the bottom. This will show your instances Node Key).

Once you've verified the Node Keys match, install your license:

1) Unzip/Extract the archived deviceconnect.lic file

2) Click the System Tab

3) Scroll to the bottom of the System Tab page and locate the deviceConnect License area

4) Click on ''Choose File'' and select your deviceconnect.lic file

5) Scroll back up to the top of the page

6) Click Restart services (note: you will see a momentary disconnection notice; this is normal)

Notes:

*If your license has expired, reboot the server for the new license to take effect

*This process will disconnect any active sessions, but the deviceConnect server will resume accepting connections around 30 seconds after a restart

*Once the restart is completed, confirm the new license is in effect by clicking the ''About deviceConnect'' link to confirm
