In LoadRunner/Performance Center VuGen 11.00, 11.52 or 12.01 TruClient can we use truclient with IE8?

We have a requirement to test a HTTP/HTTPS, AJAX/JavaScript based application using IE8 browser. Since the user interface is built using DOJO (JavaScript framework), we have AJAX/JavaScript calls in the application. Owe carrying out a protocol feasibility check using LR 11.04 (PC 11.00 Patch 6) and LR 11.52 (Patch 1), we found out that "TruClient Ajax" protocol supports our application. However, we have a project requirement to test our application only using IE8 browser. LR 11.0 only supports TruClient Firefox whereas 11.52 supports only Firefox and IE9/10. Please let me know how to accommodate LR VUGEN 11.0/11.52/12.01 with IE8 to support our project requirement?

***Unfortunately, no version of TruClient supports IE8.*** - LR 11.04 does NOT support TruClient for IE and HP is not planning to add TruClient IE support to version 11.0x. Marked as spam

Hi, I am facing same issue, our application is based on dojo framework and LR 11.52 is not supporting IE8. Did you find an alternative protocol for the application? If yes please help me on that one. Marked as spam
