When starting UFT up normally I have not problems. But if I right click on the UFT icon and select run as admin I get error that states I do not have valid license. I have concurrent license and the LSForceHost environment variable is present.

Does anybody know how to get around this?

When UFT is installed was UAC (User Access Control) set to none and done by an account with local Admin right? I have found that some installs do not follow the require permissions. Recommend reviewing the following document from HP:

Document ID: KM183747
Title: What are the minimum permissions required for QuickTest Professional (QTP), Service Test (ST), Sprinter (SP) and/or Unified Functional Testing (UFT)?

Recommend uninstall and re install with UAC set to none and as local admin.
