Is there a way to send reminders if a defect is not closed if resource X has defect Y assigned but it's not closed after 72 hours is there a way to send the resource automatic reminders to close the defect to ping the resource automatically ?

Hello is there a way to create parent to child defect association. Let's say defect X is the parent and it has 6 associated linked defects is there a way that if defect X is closed all it's linked associated defects are also closed automatically ?
