We currently use Oracle in our ALM instance, recent security changes have our DBA's wanting to revoke the access of the "schema users" for the ALM project schemas and replace those users with a system account with the same access, wil this cause any issue with the ALM application?

We have and ALM instance running on a windows server and we just switched our ALM repository to use a CIFS file share on a linux box and are seeing extreme slowness in ALM when the application writes to the file system, any ideas on this?
