We have all of our tests stored locally on our UFT host machine in the file system. Our security team advised us to put them in a hidden folder. Whenever we try to open the test, it doesn't load any of the associated Function Libraries. Please advise.

Odd one here: when I try to open some of the UFT program tools (Additional Installation Requirements, API Test Generator Wizard), it gives me an access error. Is there something I'm missing?

We have some old automation scripts created with QTP Essentials 12.53. Can all these scripts should be able to run on the new UFT version 14.50? or are there any restrictions or known compatibility issues with anything, vb script or descriptive programming.
