I'm trying to figure out a way that I can write my own status messages outside of using the QTP Report object. I don't need the status information part of the report. I wanted to make notes of what part of the script was being tested and maybe some data that is being used in the test.

My manager is trying to get a list of all the defects that have changed from two different status states, from "Reopen" to "Fixed" or from "Reopen" to "Closed". I am not able to do this using any of the default report filters, does anyone know a way to do this?

On the standard Analysis Reports, the Export to Microsoft Excel is not working, Just get a "New Web Query" Screen. This is occuring on a new PC, old PC worked fine.
