Persistent Breakpoints

I’ve noticed that with UFT, when I put breakpoints in my test and save the test, when I reload the test, the breakpoints are still there. I’ve tried disabling them and removing them and saving the test again, but no matter what I do, they come back the next time I load the test! How do I get rid of these breakpoints??!

In the UFT User Guide it has the following statement:

''Breakpoints are saved with your document and are maintained even after you close and reopen UFT''

Normally you should be able to remove the breakpoints by:

-To remove a single breakpoint, click the breakpoint icon in the left margin of the step. The breakpoint symbol is removed from the left margin of the document.

-To remove all breakpoints, do one of the following:

-Select Run > Clear All Breakpoints.

-In the Breakpoints Pane, click the Remove all button .

-In the Breakpoints Pane, right-click and select Remove all.

-All breakpoint symbols are removed from the left margin of the document.

Then save the test. In the rare instance that this does not work, then the following procedure should work:

Solution:

1. Open a Windows Explorer
2. Type %temp% in the address bar and press enter
3. Find the TD_80 Directory and delete it.

Deleting TD_80 did the trick. Thanks!
