QC 11 Service doenst appear nor does Icon

I RDP into the QC 11 server. The DB is separate. I do not see the service listed nor the icon. I do have admin rights on the box. Any ideas?

Where are you looking for the expected service information and icons? The ALM services should appear within the services settings for the Administrator> Services menus. Within there you should see ''HP Application Lifecycle Management'' services listed within the devices management widget. Sometimes the icon doesn't appear on the desktop but if installed and running correctly it should appear within the services. If it is installed you should see it there. If not I would check if some group policy is enacted by your IT department specifically hiding that service from certain accounts (as depending on the version of OS bering run on the server, Administrator privileges can be ''limited'' in their abilities and viewing rights.
