QCv10 Starter Edition Will Not Install

Trying to install QCv10 Starter Edition. Logs led us to discover that the passwords do not meet the security policy requiments set for our organization. Is there a way to edit the passwords the install is using for the sa and td accounts?

Go to ''<>:Program FilesHPHP Quality Center Starter EditionQCStarterbin'', open the file named ''install_qc_mssqlexpress.ini'' and change the SAPWD to the policy requirement set for your organization. Or You can login in to the ''SQL Server Management Studio Express'', and expand the ''Security --> Login'' and right click on ''sa'' and select Properties. In there enter the password you desire and remove the check from ''Enforce Password Policy''. I hope this works out for you... Raj Marked as spam
