QTP 10 with Windows 7 64 bit not working.

We are upgrading our desktops to Windows 7, 64 bit and are unable to get our current version of QTP 10 to work successfully with it. Help please.

Most likely you are running with QTP 10 license server version 8.0.2. 64 bit operating system have problems connecting to version 8.0.2 server and HP has released version 8.0.3 which will solve for QTP 10. HP also released version 8.3 of the license server software with QTP 11. The 8.3 version will work with QTP 10 licenses. Recommend upgrading License server to version 8.3.

Also note that the default browser that loads with Win 7 64 bit is the 64 bit browser, and it has issues with HP products. Make sure that you are loading the 32 bit browser. In the past I have had to change the default browser by copying the file from the 32 bit folder to the 64 bit folder (after renaming the 64 bit browser exe to something else as each version has a different exe).
