QTP acts weird with Google Chrome

I’m trying to work with QTP and Google Chrome browser. Sometimes when testing, for some reason my objects quit being seen by QTP as web and only are seen as Windows. I use Chrome all the time, so my updates are current as far as I know. I also have all of the available web patches and the weird thing is it works most of the time.

You probably are using multiple tabs while you are working with Chrome and QuickTest Pro. I have found that QTP only works correctly on the initial tab, and if that first one is closed, the rest of the tabs are not seen by QTP 11. You can see this by the following: 1. Launch QTP with the Web add-in selected. You'll have to be careful to watch for this behavior, as it can cause confusion and it may seem like QTP is not working correctly anymore, which isn't exactly the case. Marked as spam
