This is a fairly common issue that can usually be corrected with the following steps:

1. Open QTP and right click on an empty spot on the Menu bar.
2. Click Customize
3. Click the Toolbars tab
4. Click Restore All

I hope this works for you. If it doesn't however, you can try the following steps:

1. Close QTP
2. Open Windows Registry Editor (Go to the Start menu, select ''Run'', type ''regedit'' and
click ''Ok'')
3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMercury Interactive
4. Right click on ''QuickTest Professional'' folder, select ''Export'' and save the file prompted
5. Right click on ''QuickTest Professional'' folder and select ''Delete''
6. Browse to profile's application data (Go to the Start menu, select ''Run'', type
''%appdata%HP'' and click ''Ok'') and rename folder called ''QuickTest Professional'' to
''QuickTest Professional.BAK''
7. Launch QTP

I had 2 machines with the issue. One machine was fixed by the first procedure, but I had to do the whole thing on other machine. But they both work now. Thanks!
