QTP – script Run Error on common and previously recognized Flex objects…

This is the first time that my old faithful Login script failed to run! It seems that QTP is not recognizing the FlexTitleWindow("Login") parent object for some reason. (The Object Spy finds only the Browser window but no Flex objects within it.)

Any thoughts on what could cause a dependable script to suddenly fail would be greatly appreciated!

As you might know to test Adobe flex application the Application under Test needs to be compiled for QTP testing. Recommend talking to the developers and ensuring they have configure Flex application for accessibility as described in the Adobe Flex 3 Developer guide (Section 'Testing accessible content' page 1158). Also, review the Adobe Flex 3 'Testing Flex Application with Mercury QuickTest Professional' document.

Guess what? We had a different Flex developer do the build this week, and the build script was missing the flex library section, which consists of the automation SWC files! Once he added those files, our QTP scripts are now working fine! I want to thank you again for all your efforts on my behalf, and appreciate your time!
