QTP10 automatically closing a dialog box

I’m using QTP10 with the ActiveX, .NET and Web add-ins. QTP is automatically closing a certain dialog box I need for my script. Even if I try to open the dialog box myself, it automatically closes only if QTP is open. The window the dialog box opens from is a .NET Windows Form and the dialog box that’s closing is a Standard Windows Object. It seems that QTP is having some kind of problem with this interaction. I’d appreciate any insight.

I have seen where .Type or .set function might send extra carriage return. Recommend using device replay. The Device Replay feature is an available COM class, capable of performing mouse and keyboard actions against screen coordnates that are provided.
