Quality Center 11 Client Admin Rights Needed?

If we upgrade from QC 10 to 11, I have heard we will no longer need admin rights for client installs. Assuming this is correct, will I need to grant temp admin rights for the upgrade from 10 to 11? If so, then the advantage is just that when we patch, the admin fiasco is resolved correct?

Although this is true, it is not entirely the case. Administrative rights are not required to perform the basic install of the client onto a system when no add-ins are required. In order to install add-ins for use with the client installation will require registration of the client in order to use the add-ins (such as Quick Test Professional, Excel, or Word add-ins), thus the system will still require administrative rights for this type of usage. The system may also require administrative rights if any sort of firewall, user access control (UAC) for Windows 7 or Vista, or virus settings may need to be temporary over ridden for the user of the system.
