What tools can we use to do business modeling in ALM? Can we use visio and out put to an XML and then import that XML into HP ALM as a business model?

Are you talking about Business Process Modeling?

If so the information for this starts on page 269 of the ALM 12.50 user guide (attached to the case)

According to this information ALM supports the following model and file formats

ALM supports the following model and file formats:

- BPMN 1.1 models exported to XPDL 2.0/2.1 files

- BPMN 2.0 models exported to XPDL 2.2 files

- EPC 7.1 models exported to AML files (.xml extension)

You will need to look in visio to see if any of these are offered as format to save in. If not do a search on BPMN and EPC and you will find some free tools that will possibly allow you to create the diagram/flow chart.

I found the following information on Visio you might look at.
