Is there a way I can control whether or not my scripts run in hidden mode or visible mode when running them from a ALM?

You can try modifying the mic.ini file to set the hidden mode for the Remote Agent. If you go to the Windows start menu and type mic.ini in the Run box, you should open the .ini file in Notepad. If you aren't able to do it this way, you might want to do a search to find the file. It should be in the bin directory of UFT/QTP.

For Hidden mode, there should already be a setting that just needs the value changed to off or on using 1 true or 0 false:

RunQTPHidden=1

Save and close the mic.ini file

Close the Remote Agent system tray tool

(Optional) If changes aren't immediate, reboot the machine
