Running test from jenkins to ALM/UFT fails

on our CI build box, we have UFT and ALM configured in Jenkins. I get the error: Execution status: Error, Message: You do not have permissions to run tests on this machine. You can change this option in your testing tool’s Options dialog box.

If I log into the server (Remote Desk Top) the test runs fine. but we are not going to be physically logged into these servers remote desktop every time we do a Jenkins build and deployment. how can we ‘wake the box up’?

The UFT host machine needs to not be logged off or locked when initiating the test (either via ALM or Jenkins). Make sure the UFT host machine is logged in, then try to run via Jenkins, and let me know the results.

Because UFT cannot replay scripts on a locked or logged off machine (whether initiated from Jenkins, ALM, etc.), HPE doesn't have any ''official'' workaround, but here's a link that might help:
