ServiceTest 11 (ST) error at runtime when test linked to a database data source

When test is referencing a database data source, at run time the following error is thrown:
START
Name cannot begin with the ‘>’ character, hexadecimal value 0x3E. Line 1, position 794.
END

The results of the query is displayed in the data window and it works in another query tool using the same ODBC driver. Database = DB2, using an IBM supplied ODBC driver.

I found a workaround. It seems at runtime, ServiceTest does not like the not equals in my query '<>'. I replaced <> with != and it worked!
