Sharing BTP components won’t paste to new project

I am trying to share some BPT components to another project. I have open 2 separate IE windows and when doing the copy in one, there is not Paste option in the second. I have copied tests this way in the past, can this not be done for BPT components?

Hello, You should be able to copy and paste just fine via the method you describe. Possible there could be some permissions issue for your user group in ALM for the second project, but could just be a fluke that has come up before. A possible workaround I have seen work is to copy and paste within the same project. And do same in the second project. If that is successful in both projects, you will have the necessary permissions. Try the paste then to second project from first. I have seen where this then works fine after the internal project copy and paste. Not sure of the cause, if windows clipboard or some cache issue, but the internal copy/paste in one project generally can clear up the issue. Marked as spam
