System Error code: 3 in ALM 11.52 installation?

I am getting an error during the installation of ALM 11.52. It is a fresh installation on a newly stood up server, so no other ALM/ QC server instances have been installed on the system prior. The error states that there is an Error trying to opent he source path: System Error Code: 3.

Any idea what may be causing this error?

Hi HomerJ,
I have seen this obscure error occur when trying to install from an .iso file that was expanded using an expander such a zip7. Although lots of the times the .iso file will expand and work well, HP packages their .iso files for burning to a physical media or mounting as a virtual drive. You might try one of the many virtual drive softwares (such a magicdrive, not recommending any in particular just using this as an example as it is freeware). Download it and try to mount the iso and then perform the installation. I have found that this usually helps in this type of error instance.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried a virtual drive siftware, mounted the iso and the installation completed without further errors. Thanks for the assistance with this issue. Homer
