UFT and Sprinter 11.5 on same machine

I am aware that QTP 11 and Sprinter 11.5 won't work on the same machine. Does UFT 11.5 allow for both programs to coexist?

Out of the ''box'' support for both on one machine is not there, but if you patch Sprinter 11.5 to latest patch (that would be patch 18) you can run both programs on the same machine.

From HP's notes on the release:

*Provides integration between Sprinter 11.50 and Unified Functional Testing 11.50, allowing the two applications to co-exist on the same machine.*

*Exporting of a manual test run from Sprinter to a Unified Functional Testing test*

The patch can be found on HP's HPLN Portal site [here][1]

That sounds promising. I will have to try it out. Thank you.

Just wanted to also add, even with Sprinter 11.5 patch 18, Sprinter 11.5 and QTP 11 will *NOT* work on the same machine. AT least not with the current set of QTP 11 patches.
