UFT setup.exe throws an error, "No background bmp defined in section "General" entry "BGBmp".

I've seen this issue before. It happened because our install files were corrupt. Try re-downloading the UFT install files from a trusted source (Micro Focus or support partner) and try the install again. Be sure that the install files are local to the machine, and that the files are extracted from the .zip. Marked as spam
