UFT UI Automation too fast for my AUT?

I just upgraded to UFT 12.52 in order to take advantage of UI Automation testing for my Windows-based application. Problem is, my application seems to render the GUI too slow for UFT during playback of my UI Automation test script. Is there any built-in feature that can help with this?

New to UFT 12.54 is the ability to use a replay timeout for UI Automation-based tests. It basically tells UFT to use a timeout interval (delay) to simulate user input during playback/test execution. To use this feature:

1) Install UFT 12.54.

2) Open your test and make sure you have the UI Automation add-in loaded.

3) In UFT, go to Tools > Options > GUI Testing > Windows Applications > Advanced > Use the options below to configure your settings > (scroll all the way to the bottom) > UI Automation > enable/check ''Use replay timeout for UI Automation-based tests''> OK

This should help UFT with sync issues and failed script replay caused by slow performing UI rendering of your AUT.

That did it! Enabled the feature...now UFT is able to sync with my AUT during replay.
