UFT12 – Disable BPT Wrapper Test

In QTP11, when I’m using BPT Framework, some VBS is loaded based on Component Call in my test, and everything works fine. Going to UFT12, my test is converted into BPTWrapperTest, now it doesn’t work. Any help with disabling BPTWrapperTest in UFT12?

Check out this HP KB article: http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM00711012 The BPT Wrapper test is no longer available in UFT. Such feature was replaced by one called QuickTest External Execution Engine (QEEE). By default it is enabled. To disable this feature: 1) Open Windows Registry Editor 2) Navigate to below path: [HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMercury InteractiveQuickTest ProfessionalMicTestQEEE] Note: If ''QEEE'' sub key does not exist, create it 3) Locate String key value ''ExternalExecutionSupported'' Note: If mentioned String key does not exist, create it 4) Set the value to ''No'' Marked as spam
