I just noticed there are two different product installers for UFT12: "Full" and "Web." What’s the difference?

***Full:***

The setup program in this package enables you to install UFT, as well as additional related products:

- Unified Functional Testing Add-in for
ALM (standalone installation, if you
do not install UFT)
- Add-in Extensibility and Web 2.0
Toolkits
- License Server
- Run Results Viewer (standalone
installation, if you do not install
UFT)

Note: The UFT installation program includes all of the prerequisites required for the UFT installation.

Run the Setup.exe program in this package, and select the product that you want to install.

***Web:***

This compressed package provides full UFT functionality, but it is much faster to download, as it contains only the Unified Functional Testing setup. When you run this package after downloading it, the package self-extracts and automatically runs the UFT installation. If you want to install the Web 2.0 Add-ins for UFT, run this program after installing UFT:

InstallationsWeb2AddinSetupWeb2AddinSetup.exe

Note: This package includes most of the prerequisites required for the UFT installation. However, it does not include the .NET framework 4.5. The installation program downloads the framework from the Internet if necessary. Make sure that your computer has access to the Internet.

I think I will go with the Web installer from now on! This is great!
