unable to access Quality Center after connection string change

Our DBA team asked us to change our ALM instance for Oracle SCAN Listener. We updated our TNS Names with the new connection information. We changed the connection string for our projects and tested all of the connections in QC and they were successful. However, now we cannot access QC.

You mention that you adjusted the connection string for your projects. However, you don't mention adjusting the connection string for the database server itself (under the DB Servers tab in site admin). Since you are no longer able to get to the site admin you will need to correct this in the siteadmin.xml file located on the server. The default path is C:ProgramDataHPALMwebappsqcbinWeb-INF. Once you correct the connection string there, restart the QC service and you should be able to reach QC again.
